VEEDERSBURG — Robert K. Horton, 86, Veedersburg, died at 3:42 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 2000 in Select Specialty Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born Aug. 7, 1913 in Luther, Mich., the son of Robert N. and Lillian J. Bloss Horton. He married Bethel B. McCutchan July 14, 1935 in Crawfordsville. She preceded in death April 19, 1991. He worked for the Wabash Railroad, Veedersburg Light and Water Co., R.M.C. of Attica, and he owned and operated a grocery store and lawnmower repair shop in Veedersburg. Survivors include: a daughter, Reta L. (Tom) Graham, Veedersburg; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a sister, a half brother and a half sister. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg, with the Rev. Gary Johnson officiating. Burial was in Rockfield Cemetery, Veedersburg. – jlr
